he current scene has a fairly obvious Scooby-Doo reference. I’m not exactly a fan of this cartoon, but I love the “let’s split-up” motive. I can’t believe how many times the authors of TV series and movies have come to a conclusion that a dispersed group of heroes has a better chance of surviving in the hideout of a maniacal killer rather than remain in an organised group. One of the best variations on “let’s split-up” is a brave cop who not only has no time to wait for reinforcements, but doesn’t even have time to call for them and goes headlong to the hideout of a given criminal / murderer / cannibal. Drach Tales material, right there.
